Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Dudley to join a growing consultancy. You will design and deliver projects from concept through to completion, taking ownership of designs and coordinating with clients, architects and fellow engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a strong residential development background, familiarity with industry-standard software, and excellent communication skills to manage multiple projects with high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a consultancy environment and confident designing a variety of building structures using a range of materials.
• Strong background in residential developments (essential); exposure to commercial, education, or high‑rise projects is highly beneficial.
• Excellent technical and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
• Knowledge of current design standards and experience using industry‑standard structural design software.
