Job summary

Role: Structural Engineer in Gloucester. You will work on a range of residential and commercial schemes under the mentorship of Chartered Engineers, progressing toward Chartership. 3+ years of UK consultancy experience and a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering are required, with proficiency in structural software and UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Approximately 3+ years' UK consultancy experience.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (TEDDS, Tekla, Robot or similar).
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations and codes of practice.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK; driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and reports per UK regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and clients for project delivery.
• Attend site inspections and contribute to project meetings.
• Engage from concept through construction; support Chartership journey.
