Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Birmingham is seeking a Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of buildings design experience to join our Birmingham office. You will work on diverse projects and travel to sites as required.

You will contribute to final design, attend design meetings, produce reports and interface with clients. Proficiency with materials including steel, concrete, timber, masonry and aluminium is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of buildings design experience.
• Willingness to attain Chartership.
• Good communication skills and willingness to travel (car driver/owner).

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of buildings projects from small to large values.
• Attend site visits and design meetings; write reports.
• Hands-on structural design using steel, concrete, timber, masonry and aluminium.
