RGB Network, a specialist civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Warrington, is looking for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. You will join a technically strong team delivering temporary works solutions across the UK construction industry with hybrid working and flexible hours.

You’ll design and analyse temporary works structures, produce calculations and drawings, liaise with contractors, and support delivery from concept to site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in temporary works, structural or civil design.
• Good understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Ability to produce clear calculations and technical information.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Works Design Engineer to join a specialist Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy based in Warrington.

The business is an engineer-led consultancy specialising in temporary works design, working closely with contractors to provide practical, safe and buildable engineering solutions. Their work covers technically challenging temporary works schemes, with involvement from initial concept and design through to technical delivery on site.

The Role

You’ll join a technically strong team of Structural Engineers, delivering temporary works solutions across the UK construction industry.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Design and analysis of temporary works structures and solutions
• Producing detailed calculations, drawings and technical design packages
• Developing practical and cost-efficient designs with buildability in mind
• Undertaking design checks and supporting technical assurance
• Liaising closely with contractors and construction teams
• Providing technical input from concept through to delivery on site
• Working alongside engineers and technicians to deliver coordinated design information

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
