This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a successful, growing and friendly consultancy in Truro. With opportunities at all levels throughout their engineering team, they would welcome discussions with passionate and motivated structural engineers at all levels.

About the company: Based in Truro, the client operates throughout Devon and Cornwall, offering a full range of Structural, Civil Engineering and Party Wall services. They work mostly in the residential and commercial sectors on a wide spectrum of projects ranging from small domestic alterations up to large multi-million-pound projects in interesting locations.

Responsibilities / What we are looking for

• A structural engineer with 1-2 years experience (or more)
• Motivated and commercially aware; this opportunity commands over and above the norm of an Engineering position
• Based in or able to travel to Truro, Cornwall
• Must hold a suitable engineering degree (MEng/BEng in engineering)
• Good written, verbal and presentation skills; analysis and technical design ability are essential
• Good knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and structural principles
• Experience in delivering Party Wall Surveys is desirable but not essential
