Job summary

Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Structural Engineer for their Glasgow office, focusing on power and energy infrastructure with sector exposure across industrial, defence and transportation.

The role involves producing drawings, specs and reports, reviewing calculations, and guiding junior engineers while working with multidisciplinary teams. Hybrid work options and clear progression toward Chartered status are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar.
• Demonstrable structural engineering and design experience delivering projects in relevant sectors.
• Progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM regulations.
• Confident working collaboratively across disciplines.
• Eligibility for security clearance (essential for certain projects).
• UK-based project experience in structural engineering.

Morgan Hunt are working with a multinational consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their Glasgow office. It's an expanding team, with work across a variety of sectors - you'll mostly be involved in power and energy projects (substations, grid infrastructure and renewable energy facilities), as well as projects in the industrial, defence and transportation sectors.
