Role: Structural Engineer

Join a growing structural engineering team where your expertise will shape high‑end residential developments while advancing your chartered status with structured mentorship and career support.

Overview
  • Prepare structural and drainage designs with supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects
  • Carry out structural inspections, report on defects, and recommend remedial works
  • Conduct site visits and attend design team meetings to monitor progress and address technical queries
  • Develop UK residential drainage designs in accordance with current standards and regulations
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and relevant standards across all design work
  • Assist in the preparation of design reports, planning documents, and project specifications
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £35,000 – £43,000

Requirements
  • A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) within Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the residential sector
  • A proven track record of producing structural designs and supporting calculations
  • Experience of Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD
  • A desire to work towards ICE or IStructE chartered status
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage projects and deliver client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
