Overview

Structural Engineer – Godalming

Salary: £30-40,000

Join a friendly design team in a well-established civil and structural design consultancy based in Surrey. The chosen candidate will join a vibrant office where communication and teamwork is encouraged. Experience with Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD and REVIT is used for drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing designs on projects from inception through to completion.
• Assist with structural survey work (where applicable).
• Help mentor junior engineers, graduates and technicians.
• Work on residential, commercial and mixed-use projects as part of a collaborative design team.
• Continue progress towards Chartered status as part of the route to Chartership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership.
• Typically 3-4+ years of UK experience.
• Experience working on residential and commercial builds.
• Ability to complete structural survey work is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience using up-to-date design software; working knowledge of CAD.
