About the Role

As a Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various engineering teams to create detailed designs, plans, and specifications from concept to completion. You will support project managers by undertaking tasks on a wide range of projects which include but not limited to: Data Centers, commercial/corporate offices, finance, education, hotels & leisure and mixed-use developments.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Structural Engineering, who thrives on complex challenges, creative collaboration, and projects that make an impact. A personable self-starter with the ability to project a positive ‘can do’ professional attitude at all times maintaining good working relationships. Someone who enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines being able to establish excellent working rapport within the team, business and with clients.

Responsibilities

In the role of Structural Engineer, we'll count on you to:

  • Design structural elements for exciting projects
  • Create models and calculations, using analysis tools such as Tekla, and ETABS
  • Liaise with the design teams to produce co‑ordinated designs that are technically compliant to a consistent quality and standard
  • Undertake structural survey works and produce reports for the same.
  • Bring innovative thinking to complex engineering problems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3yrs industry experience in Structural Design within a design consultancy (experience working on Data Center projects is highly advantageous)
  • Able to interrogate/use computer modelling (Revit), organise and direct the production of structural CAD drawings, Revit Models and correspond effectively with opposite numbers with other consultants.
  • Software Experience in: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar (desirable but not essential)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
