Structural Engineer - London

Role Overview

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our London office. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse building and infrastructure projects, supporting design development from concept through to construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare calculations, structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys as required.
  • Ensure compliance with UK design codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Assist in project delivery, supporting project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development where appropriate.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 3-7 years' experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, Robot Structural Analysis).
  • Strong knowledge of UK design codes, including Eurocodes and BS standards.Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership.
  • Experience with high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and collaborative design practices.
  • Experience with client liaison and project management.
