Egis is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to work on Nuclear New Build projects, focusing on critical structures like the Nuclear Island buildings at Hinkley Point C. As a result of our continued success and growth in the UK, we’re looking for full‑time Structural Engineers to join our team working on Nuclear New Build projects, specifically focusing on Nuclear Island buildings of Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C and similar projects. You will reinforce your technical skills while working on the most complex buildings of a Nuclear Power Plant, cultivating strong working relationships in a multi‑culture environment to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, integrity and reliability of the nuclear power plant structures. You will be responsible for various aspects of the design and structural analysis of reinforced concrete or steel structures.
With a background in the nuclear industry or another heavily regulated sector, you should have an established career in Civil Structural Engineering, ideally holding a Master’s degree or equivalent.
Note: Given the nature of the work, role holders may be required to undergo Basic Security Clearance (BPSS).
