Job description

A globally recognised and leading Engineering company based in Derbyshire are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to take on highly technical work within the Power & Sustainable Energy sectors.

You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and perform structural analysis and design for industrial steel structures used across process plants, gas installations and modular structures to name a few. This will also include engineering calculations across a range of disciplines such as structural, fluid dynamics, general mechanics and FEA.

Requirements
  • Degree educated in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
  • Structural Analysis – Autodesk Robot, ETABS, STAAD Pro, TEKLA
  • Working to international Standards / Codes – Eurocode, ASCE 7 & AIC
  • Fabricated Structures, Mechanical Components, Manufacturing Techniques
