Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join the head office in the South East. The role requires a Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE with strong structural design skills and the ability to plan and conduct independent work, applying engineering techniques with sound judgment.

The candidate should demonstrate the capacity to devise new approaches to problems, prepare or modify drawings, specifications and calculations, and monitor work for compliance with codes

Qualifications

• Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE is required.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques.
• Able to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in applying engineering methods.
• Capable of devising new approaches to problems and adapting drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Monitor work for compliance with codes and accepted engineering practices.
