Responsibilities

  • Preparation of detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Supporting engineers with design information, schedules, and calculations.

  • Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.
  • Assisting with project coordination from concept through technical delivery.

EPA is multi‑disciplinary studio collective of Architectural Designers, Structural and Civil engineers with a growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects across the South East and wider areas. We are seeking a proactive Structural / Civil Technician to join our expanding team.

This is a role for a motivated individual with at least 4 years’ UK experience, capable of producing high‑quality technical drawings and supporting engineers on a wide range of residential and commercial schemes. You will be collaborating closely with our architects and engineers, managing project information, and ensuring technical accuracy across all outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of detailed technical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit (or similar).
  • Supporting engineers with design information, schedules, and calculations.
  • Producing and collating drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.
  • Assisting with project coordination from concept through technical delivery.
  • Occasional site visits and support with inspections.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant UK‑based experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD • Good knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Based locally to our offices in Rayne, Braintree.
