Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Rehab team. You will assess, plan and deliver rehabilitation for stroke and neurological patients, working within a multidisciplinary team to optimise discharge planning and patient outcomes.

You will have 18 months post-graduate rotational experience, a clinical passion for neuro rehab, and the ability to lead service development with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy.
• Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio.
• 18 months post graduate rotational experience.
• Experience working within stroke and/or neurology.
• Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective multi-disciplinary relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Competent IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess, treat and rehabilitate patients diagnosed with neurological conditions or stroke.
• Support discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team in the acute setting.
• Develop leadership skills and engage in service development projects.
• Mentor and support junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants and students.
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions and in-service training rota.
