Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a physiotherapist to deliver high-quality care to patients with stroke and neurological conditions across inpatient and community settings.

The role involves assessment and treatment in acute and rehabilitation stroke units, as well as a Community Stroke/Neuro Rehab Team, with requirements for driving and multidisciplinary collaboration. A broad range of rotatio ns and some weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in physiotherapy and HCPC registration required.
• Post-graduate rotations with broad experience in orthopaedics, elderly care, medical, surgical, neurological and MS conditions.
• Current driving licence and vehicle to travel around the Bay as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for stroke and neurological conditions.
• Work in inpatient acute and rehab stroke units and Community Stroke/Neuro Rehab Team.
• Contribute to a weekend rota and community visits as part of the role.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and supervise junior staff where required.
