NHS Forth Valley is seeking a Consultant in Stroke Medicine to deliver care in the acute and early admission stages, with opportunities to work within the wider stroke service. The post includes up to 2 Programmed Activities of SPA and 10 PA in total, with a salary scale from £111,430 to £148,064 per annum (pro rata if part time).

The role involves integration with emergency, HASU, rehabilitation units, and rapid access clinics, with involvement in research, education, and quality improvement

Qualificações

• Full GMC registration and a licence to practise.
• CCT in Geriatric/General Medicine or equivalent; Specialist Register or within 6 months of anticipated award.
• Evidence of recent continued academic and professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver care in acute/early stages of admission to hospital.
• Collaborate across stroke services and related clinical areas.
• Participate in rapid access clinics and telemedicine services where applicable.
• Support education and quality improvement within the stroke service.
