Strip and Fit Technician – Automotive Sector

Location: Rochester, Kent

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you detail-oriented and mechanically skilled?

We’re looking for a Strip and Fit Technician to join our team and play a vital role in the vehicle repair and refinishing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Stripping and fitting panels and carrying out repairs in line with approved standards
• Fit and align vehicle panels, trims, bumpers, lights, and other components post-repair
• Removing parts and panels off a range of vehicles
• Carry out quality checks to ensure proper fit and finish
• Assist body technicians and paint team as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Strip and Fit or similar role, full UK driving licence, good knowledge of vehicle components and assembly/disassembly technique, ability to work independently and efficiently, high attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Shift: Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4.30pm

Pay rate £17.21ph
