Job summary

A specialized recruitment firm is seeking a Stress Engineer for an initial 12-month contract in Belfast. Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Stress Engineer to join on an initial 12-month contract. As a Stress Engineer, you will be working within a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads who are all passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS products.

Role Details
  • Role: Stress Engineer
  • Pay: £46 - £52 per hour via Umbrella
  • Location: Belfast
  • Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 hours per week, 12 Month contract
  • IR35 Status: Inside
  • Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
  • Static structural analysis, composite and metallic.
  • Ability to analyse and validate Metallic, Composites / Hybrids structures at component level for Static strength, FDT and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods & sizing processes.
  • Ability to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic, composites/hybrids structures.
  • Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
  • Ideally held T400 Concessions Approval previously
  • Airbus would be open to candidates who don\'t hold an approval but have relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
  • Experience with other aircrafts, military aircraft or product knowledge.
