Street Scene Cleansing Ambassador needed in Bradford Paying £13.05 per hr ref 5276505

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public areas including streets, paths, verges, flower beds, and street furniture.
  • Remove litter, leaves, weeds, graffiti, chewing gum, spillages, excrement, needles, and other waste.
  • Empty and clean ballot bins, recording relevant data.
  • Clean litter bins and report any damage or issues.
  • Identify areas needing additional bins or basic horticultural improvements.
  • Use tools and equipment such as litter pickers, brushes, electric sweepers, and graffiti wipes.
  • Carry out grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed spraying, and graffiti removal.
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote anti-litter messaging.
  • Liaise with the public and report environmental concerns or suspicious activity.
  • Safely operate and maintain issued PPE, tools, and vehicles.
  • Support other duties as directed by supervisors or coordinators.
