Job summary

Visit Nassau Bay is seeking a Street and Drainage Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of general repair and maintenance tasks as a member of a crew. Punctuality is a must.

Responsibilities include repairing storm sewers and drains, digging or filling holes, manhole inspections, meter reading and replacement, and repairs to sidewalks, inlets, gutters, curbs, and streets. Ladders, tools, and equipment are handled as needed by the Street & Drainage Crew Leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Reads meters and replaces old and/or defective meters.
• Repairs City sidewalks, inlets, gutters, curbs, and streets.
• Cleans out culverts.
• Loads and unloads equipment and supplies.
• Performs manual labor as necessary.
• Performs all other duties as may be assigned by Street & Drainage Crew Leader.
