Job summary

Lime Talent in London is seeking a Strategy Manager to lead high-impact strategy engagements and commercial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients in the food & consumer sector.

You will take a leadership role across projects, guiding analysts and consultants, while collaborating with Partners to deliver strategic recommendations and maintain a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years’ experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, or transaction advisory.
• Experience leading CDD projects or strategic engagements in Food/Consumer.
• Excellent analytical, modelling, and problem-structuring capabilities.
• Ability to manage teams and deliver client-facing workstreams.
• Interest in food, consumer, or FMCG sectors.
• Clear, structured communicator who translates analysis into insight.
• Thrives in collaborative, high-performance environments with balanced hours.

Strategy & Commercial Due Diligence (Food & Consumer)

Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + 35% Bonus

Location: London (Hybrid)

An independent strategy consultancy specialising in the food and consumer sector's is looking to hire a Strategy Manager to lead high-impact strategy engagements and commercial due diligence projects for private equity and corporate clients.

This firm is known for combining deep sector expertise with a people-first culture, offering exposure to complex, senior-level work without the long hours and burnout often associated with larger consultancies.

As a Strategy Manager, you will take a leadership role across projects, working directly with Partners and clients while guiding analysts and consultants through complex commercial questions across the food value chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading commercial and operational due diligence for private equity transactions
• Managing end-to-end strategy engagements across growth strategy, market entry, and value creation
• Structuring complex problems and guiding teams through market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments
• Overseeing market modelling, commercial analysis, and financial scenario testing
• Synthesising insights into clear, compelling strategic recommendations for investment committees and boards
• Managing project teams and supporting the development of Analysts and Consultants
• Building trusted relationships with private equity and corporate clients
