Supply Chain and Operations is a major functionally-oriented strategy consulting practice: we help clients identify and quantify transformational opportunities in today’s dynamic business environment. Our work spans a range of value-focused operations assignments from redefining an operating model, configuring national/regional/global supply chains, providing global sourcing of core categories, and creating supply chain risk frameworks to ensure transparency and resilience in the extended supply chain.

Accenture SC&O Strategy focuses on: Supply Chain Risk and Resilience, Strategic Cost Reduction & Working Capital, End-to-End Supply Chain & Operation Transformation, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Sustainable Value Chain inc. Responsible Procurement, Global Operating Models (SC, Procurement & GBS), Operations and process transformations (Prime Value Chains)

What you will do
  • Assess supply chain vulnerabilities and design strategies to increase resilience through diversified sourcing, risk management, and scenario planning
  • Translate macroeconomic and geopolitical risks into actionable insights for agile, adaptive supply chain strategies
  • Develop financial models to assess cost structures, budget variances, and savings potential, using industry benchmarks where needed
  • Create client business and value cases for addressing and mitigating supply chain risk
  • Understand the end-to-end client value chain to provide a complete picture of resilience and customer delivery factors
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align resilience investments and transformations with business goals
  • Support implementation of organizational and technological transformations to increase supply chain resilience
  • Link and articulate how supply chain resiliency and sustainability priorities are interconnected to clients
Qualifications
  • Experience at a top-tier or boutique consulting firm or at a leading company with a mix of technical/operational and management/strategy roles with focus on cost management
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain and Operations in one or more industries: Energy (Oil & Gas, Mining), Consumer Goods & Services, Financial Services (Banking and Capital Markets), Life Sciences
  • Experience establishing end-to-end supply chain visibility including n-tier understanding and supplier performance management for resilience
  • Expertise in procurement and sourcing strategies that enhance supplier resilience, diversification, and cost-efficiency
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomic and geopolitical factors affecting supply chain continuity and risk exposure
  • Advanced analytical capabilities to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risk scenarios, and support data-driven decision making
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, data analytics, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI preferred but not required)
  • Experience in research, quantitative analysis and structured problem solving
  • Experience building relationships at all organizational levels
  • Experience in diverse teams on complex strategy/consulting engagements, delivering high-quality output in short timeframes
  • Interest in Commercial capability, selling and managing multiple projects
