About our client

We are working with a fast-growing business, backed by a leading private equity fund with an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. With a well-defined growth plan and an experienced leadership team, the business is seeking a Strategy Associate to join the CFO's office.

This role will sit at the intersection of strategy and finance, providing commercial insight to support decision-making across the business. You will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership, helping to assess growth opportunities, monitor performance, and provide analysis that underpins strategic initiatives and value creation. The position will involve building and interpreting data-driven insights to shape commercial strategy, while also offering exposure to the M&A strategy and investor engagement.

The role offers a unique platform for someone looking to develop in a PE-backed environment, combining commercial strategy with financial analysis, and serving as an excellent foundation for progression into broader in-house finance or strategic leadership roles in the future.

What the job involves
  • Working closely with the CFO to provide commercial and strategic support across the business
  • Preparing board materials and investor presentations to support key decision‑making and performance monitoring
  • Supporting financial due diligence preparation and analysis for potential acquisitions
  • Conducting deep‑dive analysis and problem solving on key commercial and operational issues
  • Leading and contributing to projects focused on data, performance metrics, and KPIs to drive value creation
  • Helping to shape the business for a successful exit by aligning strategy, data, and execution
Who we are looking for
  • Likely ACA‑qualified, or with experience from consulting, transaction services, or a similar strategic/financial role (qualification not essential)
