Thought Machine is seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to join the Strategy Team. You will partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to translate long-term goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

You will own planning processes, create executive-ready insights, and help embed AI-enabled workflows across the business to drive efficiency and strategic impact.

The opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy Team. This role is the operational backbone of our strategy, ensuring our long-term vision is translated into measurable execution. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Product, and Finance) to manage our company-wide planning and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced consulting or high-growth tech environment and is comfortable presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Duties

• Company planning & governance: Help drive our annual planning cycle and quarterly business reviews. Take ownership of building and maintaining our company-level target-tracking systems to translate our long-term growth roadmap into operational execution.
• Collaborate closely with Finance - who own the core company reporting processes - to review, refine, and contribute strategic updates and company-wide metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• AI Enablement: Support the integration of AI-assisted workflows across the business to improve efficiency in data gathering, reporting, and planning.
• Strategy development & market analysis: Perform foundational strategy work, including competitor tracking, customer research, and qualitative/quantitative analyses to support new strategic initiatives, business cases, and strategic reviews.
• Data-driven insights: Build and interrogate company metrics and reporting frameworks to surface insights that inform effective decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in a highly analytical, fast-paced environment. We have a strong preference for candidates with a background in top-tier strategy consulting or business operations within a high-growth tech environment.
• A proven ability to approach problems in a structured, organized manner and manage processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced modeling skills (highly proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets) with an uncompromising attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable translating deep data into executive-level slides, written briefs, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Highly organised self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, manages multiple streams of work concurrently, and is eager to rotate into diverse cross-functional challenges.
