Strategy & Growth Lead

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + discretionary bonus up to 20%

We are recruiting for a Strategy & Growth Lead for a successful Senior Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, based from their central London office. The business is on a long-term mission to meaningfully improve the lives of the families they serve, helping them make smarter decisions, gain clarity, and build long-term financial confidence.

Their ambition to grow 10x in 10 years is driven by impact: the more they grow, the more families they can support through thoughtful financial planning, advice, and lifelong partnership. Currently the company has £85m FUM.

As such they are now seeking a Strategy & Growth Lead to help design and build the next decade of the practice.

About the Role

This is a forward-looking, strategic role focused on building the systems, structures and initiatives the practice will need over the next 1–3 years.

While the Operations Manager oversees day-to-day activities, you will be responsible for shaping the future, developing strategic plans, improving how we grow, and introducing scalable tools that support consistently excellent client outcomes.

You will work closely with the Founder and wider team to turn ideas into action and strengthen the long-term capabilities of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategic roadmap and translate long-term goals into quarterly and annual priorities.
  • Build structured, scalable systems to support sustainable growth and improved client relationships.
  • Lead strategic projects across Advisers, Operations and external partners, ensuring effective planning and delivery.
  • Create tools, templates and processes to enhance adviser capability and client delivery.
  • Oversee marketing, events, partnerships and outreach activities in collaboration with external brand and communication partners.
  • Support strategic decision-making with clear summaries, insights and recommendations.
  • Introduce new tools, systems and methods that the practice will grow into over the next 1–3 years.
