Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Work Winning Lead to drive bids and frontline work winning across the CPD portfolio in UKIMEA. Based in Liverpool or other UK offices, you will blend tactical bid delivery with strategic pipeline development.

You will lead the UKIMEA CPD work winning team, shape client engagement plans, coordinate bid production, and promote best practices to raise win rates and value for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience leading work winning teams across geographies and contributing to major CPD sector bids.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices and regulations in the public sector.
• Knowledge of the CPD sector and markets, including key clients, partners and competitors.
• Experience in managing a pipeline of Priority Pursuits with digital tools like MS Dynamics CRM.
• Ability to drive improvement initiatives affecting skills, tools and processes for winning work.
• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and lead others to progress their careers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities with CPD portfolio leadership.
• Lead proposal management and bid coordination across CPD teams in UKIMEA.
• Guide pursuit and positioning strategy, scheduling, compliance and submission through the bid cycle.
• Maintain Arup brand through capture, work winning and delivery stages.
• Collaborate with technical teams and bid directors to deliver winning submissions.
• Drive client engagement planning and pre-positioning for Priority Pursuits.
• Promote the use of CRM and bid lifecycle tools for pipeline visibility and reporting.
• Supervise work winning team members and support talent development.
• Contribute to bid strategy workshops, reviews and improvement initiatives.
• Embed knowledge management and insights reporting for future pursuits.
