Jacobs in the United Kingdom seeks a Principal Modeller / Associate Director to lead wastewater network modelling across UK water projects. You will drive technical excellence, supervise a modelling team and shape innovative solutions for flood risk, water supply and environmental resilience.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the water industry with a focus on wastewater network solutions.
• Proficiency in wastewater modelling software including InfoAsset Manager, InfoWorks ICM, ArcGIS and MapInfo.
• Strong technical ability in outline design of wastewater schemes including pumping and treatment facilities.
• Expertise in 1D and 2D modelling.
• Knowledge of current industry best practice with ability to drive innovation.
• Good supervision and leadership skills and experience in managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for network modelling projects.
• Line management of project team members and day-to-day leadership.
• Manage health, safety, quality and environmental aspects of projects.
• Develop wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including CSO drivers.
• Provide technical and commercial leadership to deliver projects within timeframes and budgets.
• Govern outputs to client specifications and use network models for planning and design.
• Supervise modelling team to ensure technical excellence and best practices.
• Contribute to methods, routines and innovative delivery approaches.
• Oversee report writing and review of modelling outputs.
• Plan, programme and coordinate project delivery and cost estimates.
