Job summary

Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is seeking a Trusts and Grants Manager to steward a portfolio of Trusts and Grantmakers, chiefly in Wales, the West of the UK and Ireland. You will develop long-term strategic relationships, craft persuasive grant applications and impact reports with budgets and timelines, and collaborate with project and finance teams to align funding with RNLI objectives.

Qualifications

Good experience of managing a donor portfolio including six-figure gifts and complex donor relationships in a Trust fundraising environment or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent stewardship to Trusts on your portfolio with detailed budgets and timelines.
Develop in-depth understanding of Trusts to build long-term strategic relationships.
Expand your portfolio by researching new funders and opening doors to new prospects.
Collaborate with RNLI stakeholders to package projects that fit Trust objectives.
Use engagement opportunities and events to keep funders engaged and inspired.
Maintain excellent record-keeping for grant management and reporting in line with policies.
