Job summary

The National Youth Orchestra is seeking an entrepreneurial and collaborative trusts fundraiser to lead growth in funding from trusts and foundations across the UK. You will manage a portfolio of funders, develop persuasive, evidence-led proposals and reports, and work with the Fundraising & Communications team to meet agreed income targets.

You will communicate evolving programmes with agility, articulating potential and securing significant support for NYO’s future work with teenagers.

Qualifications

• Experience in trusts and foundations fundraising.
• Strong ability to develop evidence-led proposals and reports.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of funders and secure income.

Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial portfolio of trust, foundation and statutory funders.
• Develop compelling proposals and reports, including major bids.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align programme, financial and impact information.
