Job summary

Blythswood is seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to lead the strategy and execution of funding partnerships, focusing on trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies. Qualifications

• Proven experience of securing funding from trusts, foundations or other grantmaking organisations.
• Experience of developing successful funding strategies or funding plans.
• Excellent written communication skills to produce funding applications and reports.
• Strong relationship management skills to build long-term funding relationships.
• Experience of managing a funding pipeline and prioritising competing demands.
• Commitment to Blythswood's Christian ethos and mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Blythswood's trusts and grantfundraising strategy.
• Monitor funding trends and identify opportunities.
• Provide reports on funding performance and pipeline development.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies.
• Lead preparation and submission of high-quality funding applications.
• Develop compelling cases for support aligned with Christian ethos and organisational priorities.
• Build long-term relationships with funders and communicate Blythswood's mission confidently.
• Collaborate with teams to identify funding opportunities and develop grant-ready projects.
• Prepare accurate grant budgeting, monitoring and reporting with the Finance team.
• Produce high-quality reports for trusts and foundations and ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of funding applications, grants and reporting requirements in CRM.
