Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Treasury Manager (Funding) for a newly created role within the Group Finance function in Manchester. You will work with senior stakeholders, banks, lenders and agencies to shape funding strategy and treasury governance.

The role focuses on debt facilities, liquidity management and reporting, with hybrid working in Manchester and a competitive bonus structure.

Qualifications

• ACT or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Post-qualification experience in corporate finance, treasury or group finance.
• Strong knowledge of debt facilities, covenant compliance, liquidity management and financial risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical capabilities with attention to detail and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Group's senior debt facilities, ensuring compliance with funding agreements and reporting obligations.
• Manage debt covenant calculations, monitoring and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain the Group Treasury Policy, aligning with objectives and risk appetite.
• Support funding requirements for acquisitions and strategic growth.
• Manage interest rate risk exposure and advise on hedging strategies.
• Oversee liquidity management and surplus cash investments in line with treasury policies.
• Prepare materials and reporting for lenders, banking partners and credit rating agencies.
• Lead banking and lender KYC processes.
• Partner with finance leadership to optimise corporate and financing structures.
• Support cash flow forecasting and treasury operations.
• Drive process improvements across treasury systems, controls and reporting.
