Job summary

GCU UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead our transport function, ensuring fleet operations are safe, compliant and efficient. You will take ownership of compliance, fleet performance and driver management across our depots, including the move from Duke Street to Mossend.

This leadership role collaborates with management, drivers, workshop staff and external suppliers to deliver a compliant and reliable transport operation supporting our projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transport operations in a regulated environment.
• Possess Transport Manager CPC.
• Strong knowledge of Operator Licence requirements and drivers' hours legislation.
• Proven ability to manage drivers, vehicles and transport resources.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the transport function with safety, compliance and efficiency at the forefront.
• Manage drivers, vehicles and transport resources across depots.
• Ensure Operator Licence obligations and regulatory requirements are met.
• Collaborate with management, workshop, and external suppliers to deliver reliable transport operations.
• Monitor performance using management information and drive continuous improvement.
