Job summary

Morgan Ryder in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the end-to-end management and strategic development of our supply chain operations in Runcorn. You will drive supplier performance, purchasing, logistics, stock control and continuous improvement.

You will manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners, oversee procurement activities, monitor stock levels and working capital, and ensure compliance with chemical industry standards and safety

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supply chain, procurement or logistics management.
Strong supplier relationships and negotiation skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP or supply chain systems.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day and strategic development of supply chain activities, focusing on supplier performance, purchasing, logistics, stock control and continuous improvement.
Lead supplier and logistics relationships and negotiate improvements.
Oversee procurement activities, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable supply.
Manage inbound/outbound logistics and stock levels to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with chemical industry health & safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
