Job summary

Morson Edge in Lincoln seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to manage supplier-related non-conformances, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to quality standards. You will use 8D, RCA and 5 Why methodologies, analyze data for trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold Siemens Energy quality principles while building strong supplier relationships.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, experience with quality tools, and willingness to travel as needed to

Qualifications

• Engineering background with time served or degree
• Proficient in quality methods (5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA)
• Familiar with ISO9001 and SQM processes
• Knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation

Responsibilities

• Supplier involvement and collaboration to resolve non-conformances and containment
• Supplier quality supervision with CAPA, quality programs and risk mitigation
• Monitor and report supplier quality performance and KPIs, communicate risks
• Support PPQ and adherence to Quality Management Processes and tools
