Job summary

Simmons & Simmons invites applications for an Associate (2+ PQE) to join the Structured Finance & Derivatives team in London or Bristol. You will advise on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border structured products, taking ownership of workstreams and managing relations with leading financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
• 2+ years’ post-qualification experience with strong exposure to structured finance or structured products within a leading practice.
• Experience advising investment banks, asset managers, financial institutions or similar market participants.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of significant transaction workstreams and manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Financial Markets, Capital Markets and Financial Regulation.
• Provide commercially-focused advice on complex, cross-border structured products and related regulatory considerations.
