83zero Limited in Chelmsford is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the on-site team. You will support new product development by working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize costs, drive innovation and ensure timely product launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or technical purchasing.
• Experience in international sourcing or product development.
• Knowledge of strategic purchasing and forward sourcing.
• Experience in project management, ideally within an agile environment.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs, supplier negotiations and supplier awarding.
• Support cost estimation, cost control and cost optimization.
• Implement global category strategies within product development.
• Involve suppliers early to identify innovation opportunities.
• Coordinate procurement scheduling and product launches.
• Prepare supplier risk analyses and procurement documentation.
• Maintain ERP master data and obtain material compliance certificates.
• Report on sourcing activities and project KPIs.
