Job summary

Timeplan are recruiting for an experienced School Business Manager to join a SEND school in West London on a full-time temp-to-perm basis. The role requires strong financial, administrative and operational management and collaboration with the senior leadership team to ensure smooth day-to-day running.

You will manage budgets, HR processes, premises, health & safety, procurement and reporting, with line management of support staff and involvement in strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Experience as SBM or similar education-based role.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting and forecasting knowledge.
• HR processes, staff recruitment and admin experience.
• Premises management, health & safety and compliance.
• Proactive, organised with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Manage HR processes, recruitment and staff admin.
• Oversee premises, facilities, health & safety and compliance.
• Line manage administrative and support staff.
• Support SLT with strategic planning and governance.
• Manage procurement, contracts and resources.
• Ensure efficient admin systems and management information.
• Prepare reports for leaders and governors.
• Ensure statutory/regulatory requirements are met.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and value for money.
