Philosophy Education is partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Rochester to recruit an experienced School Business Manager (SBM). The SBM will lead finance, HR, estates, facilities and administration to support the school's strategic goals and financial sustainability.

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong financial acumen, governance awareness and the ability to work closely with the Headteacher, Governors and leadership team to drive long-term improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a School Business Manager or equivalent within secondary education.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, reporting and governance knowledge.
• Experience with payroll, procurement and payroll processes.
• Knowledge of school facilities and health and safety compliance.

Aufgaben

• Take responsibility for financial management, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for Headteacher and Governors.
• Oversee payroll, procurement, supplier payments and financial controls.
• Manage HR, administration and school operations.
• Oversee estates, facilities, health and safety, contracts and value for money.
