Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan focused on net new name acquisition.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Leverage recent success in UK Building Societies to expand market presence.
  • Build strong relationships with C‑level executives and decision‑makers.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and position Finastra’s solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive deals through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and Finastra’s evolving product offerings.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities, leveraging Finastra’s strong reputation and product suite. This role requires a proactive, energetic individual who thrives on cold calling, building networks, and opening doors.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of successful enterprise software sales experience, ideally in FinTech, SaaS, or core banking solutions.
  • Proven track record of selling into UK Building Societies and Tier 3-5 banks.
  • Demonstrated success in net new name acquisition and hunter‑style sales.
  • Strong cold calling and networking skills.
  • Deep understanding of the UK financial services landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
