Job summary

Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an Inventory Manager for a 12-month FTC to oversee inventory accounting across DTC and wholesale, ensuring accuracy and controls. This role requires strong expertise in retail inventory management, standard costing, PPV, and audit readiness.

You will drive forecasting, month-end close, and reporting while partnering with FP&A, Supply Chain and the Reporting Team to align on inventory strategy. Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management within a retail environment.
• Knowledge of standard costing, PPV, and inventory valuation methodologies.
• Experience with SOX/compliance/audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end inventory processes across DTC and wholesale channels.
• Maintain accurate recording, valuation, and reconciliation of inventory balances.
• Control inventory movements, adjustments, and reserves (NRV, obsolescence).
• Collaborate with FP&A, Supply Chain and Reporting teams on inventory strategy.
• Lead standard costing processes, cost updates and variance analysis.
• Support forecasting including freight, PPV, duties, and balance sheet items.
• Facilitate month-end close activities with journal entries and variance analysis.
• Prepare inventory reports and deliver actionable insights.
• Support audit readiness and respond to auditor requests.
