Responsibilities

• Manage Strategic Property Team to optimise the Council's asset portfolio.
• Determine allocation of space within administrative buildings.
• Support statutory asset valuations and the external audit process.
• Oversee Annual Asset Valuation programme and IFRS-compliant valuations.
• Provide valuation advice for disposal, acquisition, lease and insurance.
• Undertake property reviews to rationalise estate and identify opportunities.
• Assist with delivery of land and property development opportunities.
• Oversee school playing fields improvement programme.
• Manage shops portfolio in line with good estate management practice.
• Provide high quality professional property advice to support decision making.
• Maintain records of land ownership and asset management data including asset register.
