Job summary

Chess Dynamics Ltd is seeking a Project Scheduler to join the Programmes team. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will help define tasks, create detailed schedules and monitor timelines across multiple complex projects.

You will collaborate with Project and Programme Managers to estimate activity durations, track progress against plans, and manage resources and budgets. A UK residency for five years and eligibility for UK security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling across multiple projects.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control within projects.
• Strong resource management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Expert use of Microsoft Project for detailed schedules.
• 2–3 years of scheduling experience in engineering contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define tasks, timelines and resources with project managers.
• Create detailed Microsoft Project schedules and WBS.
• Support bid stages and re-baselining during delivery.
• Establish KPIs and monitor project performance.
• Track progress against plan and budget; update schedules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage resources and risks.
• Identify risks, opportunities, assumptions and dependencies; help mitigation.
