Job summary

WPP is seeking a Project Manager within the Programmes and Project Management team to oversee a portfolio of initiatives across pillars. The role requires a highly organized, strategic individual with strong PM experience to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

You’ll apply Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, manage risks and report on progress with a focus on continuous improvement, in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in programme and project management.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies and practical application.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Programme Planning & Management: develop and manage comprehensive programme plans with scope, objectives and timelines.
• Project Coordination & Integration: oversee execution of projects and manage interdependencies.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: implement plans to inform stakeholders at all levels.
• Risk Management & Mitigation: identify and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans.
• Project Management Methodology Implementation: apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall as needed.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: track KPIs and provide progress updates.
• Continuous Improvement: evaluate and improve processes and tools.
