The post reports to the Child Health Commissioner and requires strong relationship building to influence policy and collaboration with partners across NHS Lothian and partners in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic work that improves outcomes for children, young people and families.
• Oversee implementation of the UNCRC and preconception health care plan.
• Drive prevention and early intervention approaches to reduce inequalities.
• Build and sustain alliances with key partners and stakeholders.
• Report to NHS Lothian’s Child Health Commissioner and influence policy.
