Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a proactive Production Planner to join our Grantham site, responsible for creating and maintaining daily and weekly production plans to balance demand with capacity and inventory. You will work closely with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Demand Planning, or Inventory Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or supply chain environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily and weekly production plans.
• Balance customer demand, production capacity, and stock levels.
• Monitor inventory and finished goods to achieve agreed service levels.
• Support new product launches (NPD/NPI) and product delists.
• Review sales forecasts and orders to ensure production requirements are met.
• Analyse supply risks and communicate solutions proactively.
• Track and report key supply chain and planning KPIs.
• Work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
