Job summary

Just Recruitment Group is recruiting a Production Planner for their client based in Braintree, Essex. The role focuses on planning manufacturing routes, liaising with production and sales, and developing ERP-driven processes.

You will estimate times and material usage, produce route cards and works orders, and support month-end activities. An in-house training is provided; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office; training will be provided on bespoke in-house systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with multi-discipline departments.
• Customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with production personnel and customer services/sales departments.
• Estimate material usage and arrange sub-contract engineering services.
• Review and implement routes of manufacture.
• Estimate machining/manufacturing times for each production operation.
• Produce route cards, works orders and requisitions for manufacture.
• Develop understanding of organisation's structure, policies and processes, recommending improvements.
• Support ERP frequency-based activities such as month-end processing, annual reporting and data maintenance.
