Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Product Manager – Financial Data Distribution to join our Software Product Management team. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for index data distribution across APIs, portals, and third-party marketplaces, balancing client needs with security and scalability.

You will collaborate with clients, business and technology teams, define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and guide engineering through delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software or data product management, with at least 3 years in technically complex, platform-oriented products.
• Strong understanding of modern index or analytics data distribution architectures, including APIs, event/batch delivery, entitlement models, and access controls.
• Experience defining API/FTP/Web distribution requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve index data distribution product strategy and roadmap.
• Translate client needs into product requirements, technical specs, and backlog items.
• Collaborate with engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure delivery; coach junior PMs/BAs.
• Engage with stakeholders and governance forums; present roadmaps to leadership.
• Define KPIs for availability, latency, data quality, entitlement accuracy, and client satisfaction.
