Parker Meggitt in Coventry is seeking a Buyer to manage large, complex supplier procurement activities and cross-functional relationships, applying best practice purchasing aligned with Parker-Meggitt policies. You will raise orders, manage supplier performance, update SAP, conduct RFQs, and drive inventory reductions while ensuring regulatory compliance and on-site presence five days a week.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement.
• Good understanding of ERP systems.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships with urgency.
• On-site work commitment five days a week.
• Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to identify root cause and problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Raise direct orders and subcon orders on time to meet requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships to achieve quality, cost, delivery targets.
• Proactively manage exception messages for optimum inventory.
• Manage daily/weekly orderbook and expedite when needed.
• Update SAP with latest supplier commitments and liaise with stakeholders.
• Conduct RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate and source.
• Pursue continuous inventory reduction improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
• Manage SAP and supply chain metrics (lead times, MOQ, delivery).
• Populate data in Parker tools (PH Connect, E-Procurement).
