Heritage is for everybody, and we are here for heritage.
Heritage lives in places and people, memories and stories, artefacts and traditions. It can connect us all to the past, and to each other. It can make us happier, strengthen every community, and help shape society for the better. Everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits it brings.
That's why, as a charity, we care for over a million objects and hundreds of historic sites in every part of England, from international icons to local treasures. And it's why we open them up, share their stories and find new ways for everybody to enjoy, learn, play and create.
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our small, busy team, likely to manage the Technology/Marketing categories. The role is full time and permanent, although we would consider a flexible working arrangement with the right candidate. The role can be office‑based at any of our regional offices or worked in a hybrid way between home and an office. Regular meeting attendance at our Swindon office is essential to the role, as well as visits to other offices and sites as required.
To apply, please provide a copy of your current CV plus a covering letter (neither should be more than 2 pages of A4), setting out your interest in the role and the organisation, including relevant experience.
Please note, interviews will be held week commencing Monday 24th November 2025, either in person or via Teams.
If you would like to talk to us e.g. about workplace adjustments or working patterns, please contact Sarah Shearman, Senior Procurement Manager. No agencies please.
Previous applicants need not apply.
